We offer personalized travel planning services, including but not limited to accommodation bookings, guided tours, transportation arrangements, and complete itinerary development.

2. Booking and Payments

2.1 Booking Process

All bookings must be accompanied by accurate personal information. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all details provided. Bookings are confirmed only after receipt of the required deposit or full payment, as specified at the time of booking.

2.2 Payment Terms

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total booking amount is required to secure your reservation. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to the commencement of travel. For bookings made within 60 days of travel, full payment is required at the time of booking. All payments must be made in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise specified.

2.3 Accepted Payment Methods

We accept payments via major credit cards, electronic bank transfers, and other specified payment methods as communicated during the booking process. A surcharge may apply to certain payment methods, which will be clearly communicated before processing.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

3.1 Cancellation by Client

Cancellation fees apply based on the number of days before travel:

• More than 60 days: Loss of deposit
• 59-30 days: 50% of total booking amount
• 29-15 days: 75% of total booking amount
• 14 days or less: 100% of total booking amount

All cancellations must be received in writing. The date of cancellation is determined by the date we receive written notification.

3.2 Cancellation by CityCanvas Travel

We reserve the right to cancel any booking due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, political instability, or insufficient participation for group tours. In such cases, we will offer either a full refund or an alternative travel option of equivalent value.

3.3 Changes to Bookings

Changes requested by clients are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. A service fee of AUD $100 applies to all booking modifications in addition to any supplier-imposed fees.

4. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for all clients. Your insurance should cover cancellation, medical expenses, repatriation, personal injury, death, and property damage. We reserve the right to request proof of adequate insurance coverage before confirming certain high-risk activities or travel to remote destinations.

CityCanvas Travel is not responsible for any losses, damages, or additional expenses that may arise from events that are beyond our control, including but not limited to flight delays, accidents, illness, or strikes. Adequate travel insurance is essential to mitigate these risks.

5. Passport, Visa, and Health Requirements

It is the responsibility of all travelers to ensure they possess valid passports, visas, permits, and certificates required for the countries they intend to visit. Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your intended return date. CityCanvas Travel will provide general information on visa and passport requirements, but we cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions in this information.

Clients must also inform themselves about health requirements, vaccinations, and health precautions for their intended destinations. CityCanvas Travel is not liable for any illness, injury, or death resulting from failure to take necessary health precautions.

6. Travel Advisories and Responsibility

Travelers should familiarize themselves with any travel advisories issued by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade or equivalent government bodies in their country of residence. CityCanvas Travel reserves the right to modify or cancel itineraries based on such advisories, with appropriate refunds or alternatives provided as described in our cancellation policy.

While we exercise reasonable care in selecting service providers, CityCanvas Travel acts as an intermediary for transportation companies, hotels, and other service providers. We cannot be held liable for the actions or omissions of these third-party providers.
